CNC Situation Room

Created for CNC via Artful Dog, this animated piece used a cast of stylised 3D characters to bring a high-pressure workplace training scenario to life in an engaging and accessible way.

The concept centred around a fictional “Situation Room” environment, where employees are placed into simulated emergency scenarios and tested on how they respond in realtime. The challenge was to communicate potentially serious subject matter through animation that felt energetic, clear and approachable, while still conveying a sense of urgency and decision-making under pressure.

I was responsible for storyboarding, art direction and animation throughout the project, helping shape both the visual identity and narrative flow of the film. The character design and animation style leaned into simplicity and exaggerated motion, allowing the scenarios and reactions to remain readable, expressive and visually entertaining without becoming overly complex.
