DC Interactive
Cinematic motion. Immersive visuals. Technical craft.
I work with creative studios, production companies, agencies and brands looking for visually distinctive motion and immersive content. Whether joining an existing production pipeline or developing visuals from the ground up, I bring a balance of design sensitivity, technical problem-solving and collaborative thinking to every project.
Studio
Multidisciplinary motion, 3D and immersive design
I’m David Curtis - a multidisciplinary motion designer and CG artist creating cinematic visual experiences across immersive installations, advertising, broadcast and digital media. Working at the intersection of design, animation and emerging technology, I specialise in crafting visually rich worlds that balance technical precision with emotional storytelling.
With experience spanning large-scale projection environments, realtime workflows, motion graphics, particle simulation and procedural design, I collaborate with studios, agencies and production teams to bring ambitious ideas to life, from immersive exhibitions and experiential content to commercial campaigns and branded films.

APPROACH
Building content through story & technology
My background combines traditional motion design principles with technical experimentation, allowing me to move fluidly between design-led work and highly procedural systems. Whether collaborating with creative studios or working independently, I aim to create visuals that are both aesthetically striking and technically sophisticated.
EXPERIENCE
Backed by 25+ years experience in the design industry
Recent work includes contributions to immersive productions exploring space exploration, music culture and prehistoric worlds , including projects inspired by the Apollo missions, David Bowie and The Battles of Admiral Nelson for Epic History TV. These projects involved designing and animating large-scale visual sequences for projection-based environments viewed by audiences at architectural scale.
Alongside immersive work, I’ve created simulation-driven visuals and motion systems for commercial campaigns, including fluid-based particle animation and abstract CG content for finance and technology brands.
